The Lady Superior Book Club | Winter 2026

Welcome! 

On this first day of Dry January, we are SO EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE our launch of the Lady Superior Book Club!!! We are not just readers – we are here to experience the power of a sober third space. To share experiences, build connections, and find practical tools for sober and sober-curious lifestyles, highlighting how shared stories and consistent, positive and fun presence strengthen individual journeys to an alcohol-free life and overall well-being.

We thought LONG and hard about the titles we would like to include in our first ever book group. We wanted to include books that don’t always make it on the Quit Lit lists that emerge each January. We ended up with a powerful, raw and empowering list of memoirs by brave women whom we can’t wait to learn from and witness their stories: 

January 29th - “Stash: My Life in Hiding” by Laura Cathcart Robbins

February 26th - “Drunk(ish): A Memoir of Loving and Leaving Alcohol” by Stefanie Wilder-Taylor

March (meeting April 2nd) - “A Clean Mess: A Memoir of Sobriety After a Lifetime of Being Numb” by Tiffany Jenkins. 

We are currently hosting the book group in our sweet little shop here in Grand Marais at 6:00pm. However, if there is enough interest, we are looking into the possibility of hosting an online book group, with the same titles, each month.
