Birch Loom
From the Artist:
This was inspired by a particular stand of birch trees on Skyline Parkway just above our house.
On a walk one day, I stood and admired these trees, their colors I like so much and the big lake backdrop between their trunks. An ore boat came through and began threading in and out of the trees; an accidental weaver’s loom, right there before me.
That’s why this one is called Birch Loom.
It is 11x14, surrounded by a white border with the title and a signature nestled in there. It is printed locally in Duluth on white, Lynx 100# cover.
