Welcome!
The Big Lake Fall Book Club is back for its second season! End the year with three months of seasonal reads, thoughtful conversations with fellow book-lovers, and, of course, snacks and mood lighting.
This fall’s picks is a lineup of feminist fairytales with some horror-y twists, a 2018 novel set in a near future (maybe… now?) in which women’s choices are once again restricted by law, and, to end the year, a reflective and lovely poetry anthology with poems for each of the four seasons.
We’ll gather the third Tuesday of each month on the cozy couches of Lady Superior NA Bottle Shop (right next to The Big Lake) from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Your $25 membership includes 10% off Book Club titles at The Big Lake, a text thread and newsletter to stay connected during the reading month, and fun snacks and drinks at our meetings.
