Today the Clouds are Bavarian Cream

You know these kind of days—on these days, the clouds have to be more than vapor. They are so tremendously fluffy and billowy that these cumulous wonders must be, to some degree, made of Bavarian cream. A tasty treat from the great Pastry Maker of the sky! And usually given to us on sunny, sparkling days when the voluptuous pillows of puff hover over shimmery blue water.

This print is part of a small lake series inspired by how that same body of water and sky changes color and texture daily. There seem to be a thousand different portraits Lake Superior could pose for.
